Metra 82-3016 Speaker Mounting Brackets

Metra's 82-3016 brackets will allow you to install new tweeters into the factory dash openings of many vehicles. The package consists of two plastic plates which fit into the dash openings — you'll have to cut holes (up to 3") in the plates for the new tweeters. The 82-3016 adapter is a pair of plastic plates, designed to replace the factory tweeters in select vehicles. A hole must be cut in each plate to accommodate your aftermarket tweeters. The best method of mounting the tweeter is to cut the correct size hole in the bracket, then use the flush mount hardware included with most tweeters to mount the tweeter to the bracket. There is an indentation in the middle of the bracket to center a hole saw.
