Better sound for your VW

The iDatalink KIT-VW1 factory system adapter (along with the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module, sold separately) lets you install and connect an iDatalink-ready double-DIN (4" tall) car stereo with a 7" screen or a Pioneer modular radio with its 9" screen in your Volkswagen. With your iDatalink-ready car stereo, you'll retain your steering wheel audio controls, along with the on-screen climate controls and factory menus. You can also set up gauges on your new car stereo's touchscreen to check engine performance and display other vehicle information. The module retains all your factory backup cameras (except 360° camera). The kit includes bezels for 7" iDatalink-compatible radios and 9" Pioneer modular radios; the bezels' finish matches your factory dash.

The wiring harness features an in-line head-unit connector harness, which will plug into iDatalink's new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for select radio brands. If you're installing a radio that doesn't work with a "Head-unit direct" harness, you simply cut off the plug and connect the wires to the harness included with your new radio.

Note: This kit is designed for select 2018-up Volkswagen vehicles without factory amplification.
