To overcome this, we now offer our front audio upgrade featuring a plug and play amplifier wire kit, a Power series small chassis, 4-channel amplifier and our new 6.5" direct fit speakers. This allows you to quickly upgrade your audio from ho-hum to holy-cow with no modifications or compromises to the bike or its systems.

Do you enjoy hitting the road on your motorcycle but are tired of not enjoying your music because you can't hear it when riding? The Rockford Fosgate TMS series of motorcycle speakers solve that problem. The TMS69 is a full range coaxial speaker designed to fit bag lid speaker locations made for 6x9” size speakers on Motorcycles.

It features a Neodymium motor structure driving a reinforced polypropylene cone with Santoprene surround. Highs are produced by an ultra-efficient 25mm dome tweeter with integrated phase plug and is made water/weather resistant with the addition of a Santoprene front isolation spider connecting between the tweeter housing and cone assembly.

Suggested Clearance for Harley-Davidson® Bag Lid Speakers

ISSUE:

A speaker motor structure converts amplifier power into mechanical energy. Some of that energy is lost through heat transfer in the motor structure. This heat is dissipated by moving air through the speaker’s voice coil as it moves up and down. Heat is also dissipated through the speaker’s magnet. Having temperature sensitive items like clothing or plastics in direct contact with the speaker magnet can heat-up and warp.

SOLUTION:

We suggest keeping valueables stored in motorcycle bags at least 2-inches or more away from the speaker magnet. This will give the speaker enough room to dissipate heat and circulate air through the vents located on the back of the magnet. It will also prevent items from shifting inside the bag and unintentionally making contact with the speaker’s motor structure.
